BOKEH Photography

BOKEH (Japanese for blur)

-It has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light". It is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh is often most visible around small background highlights, such as specular reflections and light sources, which is why it is often associated with such areas. However, bokeh is not limited to highlights; blur occurs in all out-of-focus regions of the image. This is my photos that I shoot even though I have no idea to make this but I'm so happy that I do it better and it is fun doing this :)

Food Photography

My Professor discuss and teach us the tips about food photography to get such great result and to get more attractive and nice photo.

VIDEO ( Basic Shots)

My Professor teach us the proper way to make a video and the basic shots such as Extreme long shot, Medium Close-shot, Long shot/ Full, Extreme Close- up, Medium shot, Cut-in and Close up.

The meaning of Jello effect
-  appears when the camera is vibrating, in situations such as hand-held shots at telephoto settings, or when shooting from a moving vehicle. The rolling shutter causes the image to wobble unnaturally.

Photography is FUN!

My Professor said that " It is easily to SHOOT/ CAPTURE but it is difficult to PREPARE!" In this subject, I learned a lot because I learned how to use DSLR camera and I know the basics in photography like the shutter speed, aperture and the ISO, the lighting patters, how to edit the settings in the camera and so on. Photography is FUN! CAPTURED, CAPTURED, CAPTURED! :)

Alphabet Photography

Alphabet Photography is to find a letters in the most ordinary or common things we see everyday. (A thing that similar to the letters/ alphabet).

This is my Alphabet Photography that I create :)

Portrait Lighting

They discuss about the lighting patterns and the lighting style.

Loop Lighting- This is one of the more commonly used lighting setups and is ideal for people with average, oval-shaped faces. It is characterized by a shadow going to the right side of the nose.

 Split Lighting-  This is a very moody lighting option, so it is generally used when the photographer wants to create a strong sense of drama with the image. Half of the face is lighted and the other side is dark.

Rembrandt Lighting- It is characterized by an illuminated triangle under the eye of the subject on the less illuminated side of the face. It is named for the Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn, who often used this type of lighting.

Butterfly Lighting (Glamour/ Paramount)- became a staple pattern for the Hollywood photographers of the 1930s. This lighting is characterized by the butterfly-shaped shadow that it casts below the nose. The butterfly pattern can be quite useful for a variety of faces, but is at its best on lean subjects with high and pronounced cheekbones.

Lighting Styles: 

Short Lighting - The part of the subject that is away from the camera is lighted.

Broad Lighting- The larger part of the subject’s face is lighted.

Light Painting whoooo!

My Professor in Photography teach us how to make light painting. It is very fun because you can do all you wanted to draw using light.
But what is the meaning of Light painting?
It is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera. Light painting can also describe works where the camera itself is moved during exposure.

What is Photography?

Hello Guys!
Do you know what is the meaning of photography?
Photography means "Drawing with Light". If there no light, no photography :)

There are the 3 different ways to control the EXPOSURE (is the amount of light per unit area).

SHUTTER SPEED-  is the amount of time light hits the camera sensor. The longer the shutter speed, the more light gets through and the brighter the picture gets. The shutter speed is like two curtains closing a performance stage.

APERTURE- is a hole or an opening through which light travels. More specifically, the aperture and focal length of an optical system determine the cone angle of a bundle of rays that come to a focus in the image plane.

ISO (International Organization for Standardization )- controls the cameras sensitivity to light. It is indicated by numbers like 100, 200 up to 100,000. The higher the ISO, the more sensitive the camera is to light. The ISO is responsible or maintaining the quality of the picture. 

When your ISO is very high, the result of your picture has become "GRAINY" or noise.
